Age limits, documents, the no-deposit policy, insurance, mileage and delivery, the complete, no-surprises guide to renting an exotic car in Dubai.
Dubai is one of the best cities on earth to get behind the wheel of a supercar, wide highways, smooth tarmac and a backdrop made for it. Here's exactly what you need to rent a luxury or exotic car in Dubai, with no surprises.
Who can rent? Age & licence
For most luxury cars the minimum age is 21. For high-performance supercars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren) the driver usually needs to be 25 or older. You'll need:
- Residents: a valid UAE driving licence + Emirates ID.
- Tourists: your passport, your home-country licence, and an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- That is all. No credit card block and no security deposit are required at Mey Car.
No deposit, and insurance included
Mey Car takes no security deposit: nothing is blocked on your card and you only pay the rental price, something very few Dubai rental companies offer. All rentals include standard insurance; additional coverage can lower your liability and is recommended for supercars.
Mileage
Rentals come with a daily kilometre allowance (typically around 250 km/day). Extra kilometres are charged at a small per-km rate, easy to plan around for city driving.
Delivery
With Mey Car, delivery and collection are free anywhere in Dubai, your hotel, residence or the airport. We deliver to Dubai Marina, Downtown, Palm Jumeirah and DXB Airport.
What does it cost?
Daily rates in Dubai range widely by car. As a guide from our fleet: a Mercedes C-Class from 700 AED/day, a Lamborghini Huracán around 3,000 AED/day, and a Ferrari 812 GTS at 4,600 AED/day. Weekly and monthly rentals come with meaningful discounts.
